Description
When putting an academic twist on the classic game, “Guess Who” is an activity that highly increases student engagement and rigor. Use this editable resource to create your own “Guess Who” games for any grade level, subject, or skill. It is perfect for math centers, literacy centers, early finishers, or test prep! Templates are provided for:
- Squares to insert into game board flaps
- Mystery cards
- “1 Sheet” game board template for the newest Guess Who game boards
- “Cheat Sheets” for students to refer to during the game (ideas of questions ask, visual aids, etc.)
This resource also includes detailed guidelines, tips, and tricks for creating your own games using the templates.
*GAME BOARD COMPATIBILITY*
Templates are included for THREE versions of Guess Who (other versions may have different dimensions, and therefore the templates will not fit):
- An original version of “Guess Who?” (no longer sold on Amazon)
- The newer version of Guess Who on Amazon
- The newest “Easy-to-Load One Sheet” game on Amazon (this one provides the easiest prep- no needing to cut small pieces or cards)!
If using the newest easy-to-load one sheet version, please note that you will need to print on white cardstock. Regular copy/printer paper falls out of the game boards too easily.
*Editing in PowerPoint*
This resource will be easier to use if you have experience with creating in PowerPoint (specifically with changing font sizes, using text boxes, as well as inserting and resizing clipart if you plan to use clipart in your games).
Basic guidelines are included if you do not have experience, but please keep in mind that some skill in using PowerPoint will need to be learned to be able to utilize this resource.
