Description
After school, it’s not uncommon for kid/parent interaction to play out something like this:
Mom: “How was school today?”
Kid: “Good.”
Mom: “What did you learn about?”
Kid: (Shrug) “Nothing.”
Help prevent these kinds of conversations between your students and parents with these “Ask Me About” stickers! They are the perfect conversation starter to get your students talking about what they learned at school. Print out a sheet of mailing labels for each of your students (free template included with download). Each label says “Ask Me About _______.” At the end of the school day, have the kids write something important you learned about in the blank on one of the labels. For example, “Ask Me About Nouns.” Kids peel the sticker off the sheet and put it on their shirt. When their parents see it after school, they can talk together with their child about what’s on the sticker. The kids get to practice their conversation skills AND review what they learned at school! Plus, it’s another way to help keep parents informed about what their child is currently learning about.
The free download also comes with a Parent Letter explaining how the “Ask Me About” stickers work.
The labels are the same template size as Avery 5960 and 45160. Labels can be purchased in bulk: Click here for labels
