Happy summer!! School just got out, and we just got HERE! 🇮🇹😄

Italy was the very first place outside of the U.S. that I ever traveled to on my own (study abroad in college).

That was way more years ago than I care to count 😆 but either way…

It feels very special to now get to come back to a place I love so much, with my husband and kids.

And to somewhere that’s still new to all of us…it’s my first time to the Amalfi Coast! 🍋

Some things never change though…I still want to eat gelato every day 😂😁

It was a special day getting to see many of my former 2nd graders at Senior Walk this year! 🎓

One of my old students even brought a copy of “Our Class is a Family” for me to sign for him 🥹❤️

This has always been one of my absolute favorite school events!

Graduating high school seniors come back to visit their elementary school for a walk down memory lane 🏫

I love this way of celebrating education, especially with all the younger kids getting to see the seniors in their caps and gowns, looking up to them and cheering them on.

I love it so much that I’m actually helping to start it as a tradition at my daughters’ school…they will be having their very first annual Senior Walk this year! 🎉

Does your school put on any similar type of event? If not, would definitely be a wonderful one to try and start! 💞
