Description
Parent communication folders are a simple and organized way to send home school fliers and student work, as well as for teachers and parents to communicate with each other. You can send them home with students daily or once a week.
This resource includes:
Folder cover pages (ready to print, or customize with your name & grade)
“Leave at Home” and “Return to School” cut & paste labels for inside pockets
Ready to Print and Editable Parent Letters to explain the folders
Teacher Guidelines
Suggestions for use:
File all “go home” papers in a file box organized by student name or a number and then transfer papers into these folders. If it’s something you need signed or filled out, place papers on the “Return to School” side and if it’s something you don’t need back, then it goes on the “Leave at Home” side.
It’s also another easy way for you & parents to communicate with each other- you can send notes back and forth in the folder.
Send home a letter to parents to help explain how the folders work.
Different versions of the letter are available to meet your needs, and each version comes in color or black & white:
-Ready to print (pg. 6-7)
-Just add signature (pg. 8-9)
-Editable text with teacher signature (pgs. 10-11)
-Editable text without teacher signature (pgs. 12-13)
Any pages with text boxes are editable. Just click to start typing and edit/add/delete text and change it to any font of your choice. Please note that if you’d like to match the same fonts used in the sample or ready to print the letter, they are paid fonts. They are called AGCanYouNot and AGLikeaBoss, and both can be found in Amy Groesbeck’s TpT store.
