This download contains activities for students to practice identifying compound words, as well as the meanings/definitions of compound words based on their two individual words.

Word Lists/Cards:
30 sets of compound word families (240 total word cards)
1 set of non-compound words (40 total word cards)
These word cards can be used to help students with the sun craftivity, and are also ideal for word sorts, literacy centers, and as a quick reference for any compound word lessons.
Sun Craftivity:
Students write a base word in the middle of the sun and brainstorm the various compound words that can be made with that base word. They write the other half of the compound word on each ray of the sun. The resource includes guidelines of how the word lists can be utilized to assist students.
Graphic Organizers:
2 versions of organizers are included to help students practice determining the meaning of compound words. Students identify compound words, write the meanings, use them in a sentence, and draw pictures to show the meaning.

Returns Policy
Shippable Orders
If a package is lost or damaged while in transit:
All shippable products (books & merchandise) can be refunded, replaced, or returned- free of cost.
In all other instances, besides loss or damage:
A return shipping label will be emailed, and shipping cost for the return label will be deducted from the refund. The purchase (with return shipping cost deducted) will be refunded upon receipt of the returned package.

Downloadable Orders
All digital, downloadable resources are non-refundable. Please check the description and preview closely before purchasing all downloadable teaching materials (to ensure that the resource is for your specific grade level, etc.)
